Gastonia's photography Studio

Hi, my name is

Robyn Chapman

Owner & Photographer

This here is the part where I get to tell you a little bit about me... Settle in, while I provide the tea. ;)

I was born and raised in Texas, and after graduating High School, I went on to attend UTEP. (University of Texas at El Paso) where I earned two Bachelors Degrees. "Go Miners!"

Along the way, I got married, had children and we relocated to the Carolinas back in 2014 for my then husband's job. After 15 years, our Marriage ended, and we both chose to stay in the Carolinas.

Charlotte, NC and it's surrounding areas really have so much to offer, my kids are thriving, and I love the Seasons!

I truly have enjoyed working in many different job sectors throughout the years, but let it be known that for over 20 years, I've always had a part to play in the

"Photography" Industry and keep returning back to it.

Basically, just during/after the Covid Pandemic, I felt God was ordering my steps to comfortably settle into the role of Entrepreneurship.

Thus "Golden Cam Studios, LLC," located in Gastonia, North Carolina was formed to provide

Professional Photography Services to the surrounding areas of Charlotte, North Carolina.

So there, you have it!

This woman, minority owned small business is a testimony to Glorify God!

We have the Gastonia location, and a Mobile Operation. We hire on & partner with other photographers in the community and we continue to expect more expansion.

My mission, is to provide excellent Customer Service in Photography, but also to pray over my clients, your families, your children, your businesses, your sports teams, your health, your relationships, your lively hood, your future endeavors and/or whatever else there is to pray for.

See, I learned long ago that we are Blessed, to be a Blessing to others.

So, on that note I say, "Thank you," to my heavenly Father and with great joy, I look forward to meeting you soon!

With this business, I honor my

Aunt Linda Vigerust and My Aunt Joan Vigerust.

Aunt Linda, left a legacy of being generous and was the definition of a good person. She made Christmas and Birthdays extremely special. She was my safe place to run to when the world got too tough or on the opposite side of the spectum, if I had great news to share! She loved me as if I were her own and if she could hear me from heaven I would want her to know that we truly adore her! My Aunt Linda opened up her business, "The Golden Comb" on November 18, 1982... the very day I was born. She loved me as if I were her own. To honor her, I have chosen to name my business, "Golden Cam Studios."!

Aunt Joan, many knew her as my Auntie or JoJo. She was the strongest person I have ever met in my life. Born in 1933, she contracted Polio at just 6 years old. As both of legs had been affected, she would then spend the rest of her life, using braces and crutches to walk. This was at a time that our world, was not designed to be handicap accessible. At All. She would endure over 100 surgeries within her lifetime.I am talking about multiple Hip, knee, shoulder, joint replacements Numerous fistula placements, and tons of falls and complications that resulted over time, As they say, the struggle was real, and she would still go on to the University of Texas at El Paso and become a school teacher for over 33 years. She took my mom and I in, when I was only 4 days old. It is there with her, that I would grow up. She too, loved me as if I were her own, and I am forever grateful.
